What is the FCR?

Foreign Credential Recognition Program is funded by the Federal Government of Canada to help Skilled Newcomers get back into their professional fields or alternative related career fields.

The program also offers multiple loan amounts up to $30,000 depending on the process, to cover the cost of credentials along with a flexible repayment schedule.

At PICS-FCR, we offer two key services:

Financial Support:

  • Loans to skilled newcomers requiring financial assistance
  • Loans can be utilized for various costs:

Our loan program provides financial support with lower interest rates compared to traditional banks, and offering a stress-free process. The FCR team and employment coaches are also here to guide and assist these skilled newcomers in effectively translating their skills obtained from their home country to meet Canadian standards.
